Hi, I'm Tracy Wright. I've been a licensed counselor serving the Charleston community for over a decade, and my passion has only grown stronger with each client who trusts me with their story.
I believe that therapy isn't about fixing what's broken — it's about helping you reconnect with your own strength, clarity, and resilience. My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in evidence-based practice, tailored to who you are and what you're going through.
Whether this is your first time considering therapy or you've been on a healing journey before, I want you to know: you deserve support, and you don't have to face things alone.
Call or email me to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We'll discuss your needs and see if we're a good fit — no pressure, no obligation.
Our first session is about getting to know each other. I'll learn about your story, your goals, and together we'll create a plan that feels right for you.
Through regular sessions, we'll build on your strengths, develop new tools, and work toward the changes you're looking for — at a pace that feels safe.
As you gain confidence and skills, we'll review your progress and gradually transition toward independence, knowing you have the tools to thrive.
Starting therapy is a big decision, and it's normal to have questions. Here are some of the most common things people ask before their first session.
Still have questions? I'm happy to answer them — just reach out.
Contact MeYour first session is all about getting comfortable with each other. We'll talk about what brought you in, your history, and what you'd like to get out of therapy. There's no right or wrong way to feel — I'll meet you wherever you are.
I work with several insurance providers and also offer private pay options. During the free consultation, I can help you verify your benefits and discuss any questions about coverage or fees.
Absolutely. Everything you share is protected by confidentiality and federal privacy laws. The only exceptions are situations involving safety — and I'll be upfront about those with you from the start.
Yes! I offer both in-person sessions at my Charleston office and secure telehealth sessions. You can choose what feels most comfortable and convenient for you, and we can adjust as needed.
There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients find relief in 8–12 sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We'll regularly check in on your progress and adjust the plan as you grow.
That's completely okay — and actually a very common feeling. The free consultation is a low-pressure way to learn more and ask questions. Even if therapy isn't the right fit right now, I can help point you toward resources that might be.
